DreamSimplicity is a virtual community and marketplace directory for business applications and the industry professionals that deliver them. DreamSimplicity was among the first resources of its type and has flourished as an evangelist for the people, news, research, groups, and events that are shaping this dynamic industry.
DreamSimplicity was dreamed up by Matt Childs in 2007 in San Francisco, California. As a sales leader in early stage software-as-a-service startups, Matt recognized the need for a community-sourced directory and information center on SaaS and Cloud business applications. He also realized that these businesses needed a better alternative to email and paid search for exchanging information and marketing assets for social syndication across the web.
In April 2009, Matt teamed up with fellow sales team member Derrick Lee to launch DreamSimplicity. Shortly thereafter Eli Lloyd and Floyd Tucker joined the team. Thousands of articles, hundreds of videos later, DreamSimplicity has grown to become the top destination for web-software technology executives and professionals.
The power of social media has enabled DreamSimplicity to grow to serve content to almost 100,000 individuals and organizations worldwide - all without the use of any traditional advertising or PR services. Unlike traditional tech blogs an information portals, DreamSimplicity enables users to openly create and share their own content, while including images, videos, and marketing collateral at no cost.
Since 2009, more than 43,000 pieces of content were shared by 1,500 individuals and organizations looking to get the word out to influencers across the social web.
DreamSimplicity’s “Co-op SEO” concept enables app providers big and small to experience exceptional visibility and branding on the social web as well as indexing in major search engines.
