True, I think it is that Google was talked a lot about on Twitter, not that they made a large impact as a brand. Does anyone else have insight on this?

I love that the number one trending topic is Justin Bieber. Somehow I find it really hard to believe that Google was the #2 brand on Twitter in 2011. In fact, I don't believe that Google and its employees are very social. The recent release of Google+ is just simply a competitive move, no passion or driven direction. Nevertheless, thanks for sharing.

We've been using Chatter for a while now, and found it extremely helpful for sales and project management collaboration. For pure project collaboration (outside project management and staffing), we've been using Jira Studio, which provides Wiki, Planning and Task Boards, time tracking and pacing info, Continuous Integration, code reviews, etc.
We use TweetDeck, as well - it's streamlined, helps us see our feed across multiple platforms/sites, and can auto set tweets and posts to go out at certain times, therefore allowing us to do a few days worth of social media within 15 minutes. Links to new blog posts will be distributed in the same manner as soon as we launch our new site in a few weeks!
