4medica announced today that its 4medica Ambulatory Cloud Integrated Electronic Health Record (iEHR(SM)) version 10.4 was certified as a Complete EHR on Oct. 20, 2011 by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), an ONC-ATCB. This complete certification marks a major milestone in taking the company to an unprecedented level of EHR cloud integration distinctive to the health I.T. industry. 4medica now offers physicians a truly integrated iEHR to establish bi-directional data connectivity and seamless information exchange across ambulatory and inpatient care settings.
The ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certification program tests and certifies that Complete EHRs meet all of the 2011/2012 criteria and EHR Modules meet one or more -- but not all -- of the criteria approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) for either eligible provider or hospital technology.
Regulatory and financial pressures are forcing physician practices to rethink and change how they deliver care, exchange information, and communicate with community providers and patients. This transformation will only accelerate over the next several years as providers comply with health reforms and pay-for-performance programs such as accountable care organizations (ACOs).
4medica's iEHR's patient-centric consolidated view of large-scale, comprehensive information from diverse care settings offers doctors multiple clinical and operational advantages to achieve higher quality care and reimbursement. Additionally, its sophisticated cloud computing archetiture presents an alternative solution to more affordable, faster, easier to use and rapid installation to address meaningful use requirements.
The certification number is CC-1112-401670-10. ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certification conferred by CCHIT does not represent an endorsement of the certified EHR technology by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services nor does it guarantee the receipt of incentive payments.
The 4medica Ambulatory Cloud iEHR meets the Complete EHR certification criteria as an integrated bundle of EHR modular products.
