BigMachines, Inc., the leader in sales configurator, pricing and quoting, proposal generator and B2B ecommerce software-as-a-service (SaaS), today announced the selection of featured speakers for its BigIdeas Chicago 2010 conference. BigIdeas Chicago is BigMachines’ annual customer and industry forum to be held October 24-26, 2010 at the Swissôtel Chicago. BigIdeas has become one of the largest SaaS innovation conferences where attendees discover best practices for deploying SaaS solutions to streamline their sales processes and enable B2B eCommerce.

“BigMachines will launch a new era in B2B multi-channel sales at BigIdeas Chicago”

The keynote addresses at BigIdeas 2010 will be delivered by Steven Levitt, co-author of bestselling books Freakonomics and Superfreakonomics; Gene Alvarez, a Vice President in the Gartner CRM research organization; and Godard Abel, CEO and co-founder of BigMachines. Steven Levitt is the winner of the highly esteemed John Bates Clare Medal, as most influential economist in America under the age of 40. Mr. Levitt will provide BigIdeas attendees with insights as to how his Freakonomics approach (combining data, economic theory, and creative, unorthodox thinking) can be applied to selling business products and services and to the development of B2B eCommerce.

Also speaking at the conference will be Gene Alvarez, who has more than 23 years of IT experience in business impact assessment, vendor management, project management, software development and delivery of complex business applications and is a recognized authority on retail and consumer packaged goods industry applications and practices.

Godard Abel will deliver the opening keynote address sharing the latest BigMachines innovations. “BigMachines will launch a new era in B2B multi-channel sales at BigIdeas Chicago,” said Mr. Abel. “At BigIdeas we will showcase the release of our newest product, BigMachines 11, which truly enables B2B sales across multiple channels for virtually any vertical market. We look forward to BigIdeas as an opportunity to not only demonstrate and train on our latest products, but also to engage our customers, prospects and partners to collaborate on next-generation innovations.”

The BigIdeas Chicago conference will feature interactive sessions focused on solutions for B2B eCommerce, channel sales, product configuration, and proposal and contract generation, among other topics. Conference attendees are also invited to a celebration of 10 years of BigMachines at the House of Blues Chicago. Sponsors for BigIdeas 2010 include salesforce.com, Cloud 9 Analytics, hiSoft, InsideView, ATG, CRMfusion, and InfoNow.
