Do we really need to spend all that time commuting to and from the office each day? Seems like as waste of time. New research published by ContactBabel, showed that 73% of sales and contact centers that do not allow employees to work from home believe that it would bring greater flexibility to add new reps and open for longer hours.

The study also showed that 18% (up 15% on 2010) of this year's respondents allow their sales reps to work from home, with 92% agreeing that the flexibility was an advantage. Stated benefits included increased rep productivity, decreased staff turnover and claimed cost savings of 20%.
