The San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley /San Jose Business Journal have ranked Workday, Inc. #3 for mid-size companies on its annual list of Best Places to Work in the Bay Area. Workday is the leader in SaaS-based enterprise solutions for global human resources, payroll, and financial management.
Employees from more than 300 Bay Area companies participated in an independent, third-party survey, ranking their companies on topics including team effectiveness, alignment of goals, trust in coworkers, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, work engagement, and people practices. This is the fourth consecutive year Workday has appeared on the list.
Founded by Workday Co-CEOs Dave Duffield and Aneel Bhusri in 2005, Workday now has more than 700 employees and 200 customers. Workday plans to hire more than 300 employees in 2011.
