VentureBeat, the host of CloudBeat 2011, has announced that executives of Netflix, Zynga, Best Buy and Google will share cloud case studies at tomorrow's CloudBeat 2011 conference.  These case studies will discuss  real-world examples of how the cloud has impacted and changed the way their companies do business, including exclusive industry insights on the importance of cloud.

VentureBeat has released the below blurbs on what the executives from Netflix and Zynga will be discussing at CloudBeat 2011.

Netflix Case Study:
Netflix is often held up as the poster child of cloud adoption and specifically the adoption of Amazon Web Services. While the technical discussion about what Netflix has done and currently does has been the subject of many presentations, less well known are the business drivers for the move to the cloud. Adrian Cockcroft from Netflix will discuss such issues as the trade-off between cost and agility and the business risk profile that Netflix sees comparing on-premise with cloud.

Zynga Case Study:
Initially dependent upon traditional hosted infrastructure, Zynga moved to Amazon Web Services as it experienced explosive growth. However, as that growth became more predictable, Zynga developed its own zCloud solution and pulled some of its computing back onto dedicated infrastructure. Allan Leinwand, CTO Infrastructure Engineering at Zynga, will explore the rationale his company adopted in steering this course from hosting to public cloud to private cloud, and help the audience to understand how they might discover the best course in their own circumstances.
