Cloud Vertical, a Dublin-based startup has a launched a platform that compiles analytics that measure spending across EC2 instances, Amazon S3, Elastic Map Reduce and currently supports Amazon Web Services, Heroku and VMWare.
The solution tracks spending across a number of models and measurements including days, weeks and months. Cloud Vertical also predicts future costs and compares spending against industry benchmarks while alerting administrators via SMS messages and email when usage spikes. The idea behind Cloud Vertical is to help IT managers key areas where they are spending money and better optimize infrastructure operational costs.
Pricing & Plans
Cloud Vertical is offered in a variations and plans and pricing ranges from $5 to $750 per month. The $5 plan provides basic reports while the $50 plan adds extra reporting plus SMS and e-mail alerts. The $750 plan brings optimization recommendations. Custom enterprise plans are also available.
Cloud Vertical is backed with about a half million euros in funding from Delta Partners and Enterprise Ireland. The company has seven people in Poland, Ireland and the U.S.
