Protecode, open source license management solutions provider, announced today the cloud launch of its System 4 open source code scanning and license management solution, called ProtecodeCloud. 

With ProtecodeCloud, organizations can automatically create a software Bill of Materials (BoM) that includes a list of all open source and third party projects within their software. Reports on licenses, copyrights, license obligations, license compatibilities, security vulnerabilities, and export control designations are available with a single click. ProtecodeCloud is also the only product currently available that can read and create Software Package Data Exchange (SPDX) standard files.
