There has been a lot of buzz about Apple's latest brainchild, the iCloud. The purpose of the iCloud is to bring your information together across all Apple devices. Download a song on your iPod and it is automatically synched with your Mac, iPad, iPhone, and whatever other Apple devices you might own.
StatCounter, which tracks Internet data, said that IE's share of the browser market fell to 49.9% in September. More people still use IE than any other single browser, but the combined market share of non-Microsoft browsers now outpaces IE.
Facing the end of the personal computing business as we know it, Apple is betting the company on a new generation of thin devices like the iPhone and iPad. But Apple is weak in the cloud computing applications that are essential for it to survive and thrive in the new future.
