New Invoicing and Billing Features Extend Solution’s Customer Retention and Acquisition Benefits to Enterprise Software and SaaS Providers
BELMONT, Calif. — May 2, 2011 — Vindicia, a leading provider of SaaS billing solutions that help digital leaders optimize customer retention and acquisition through integrated marketing best practices, today unveiled a new version of its CashBox billing solution. The new version adds new capabilities around invoicing, proration and hierarchical billing to support a broad range of business models especially prevalent in the enterprise software, SaaS and B2B markets.
Vindicia has established its success with digital merchants who use CashBox to optimize the benefits for “pre-pay” models, where customers pay in advance of using a service. With the new capabilities announced today, Vindicia extends the benefits of the CashBox solution to “post-pay” models, where customers typically pay for a service after they have used it.
CashBox addresses the needs of digital merchants of all sizes, from those who generate hundreds of invoices per month to ones that handle tens of thousands of credit card transactions per day. The solution enables digital merchants to optimize how they deliver their content and services, collect payment and account information in a PCI-compliant fashion, enable customer self-service, and expedite customer care.
“Organizations of all kinds are recognizing the advantages of a SaaS model including near-instant provisioning, quick and easy integration, the ability to push upgrades to an entire customer base and inherent customization capabilities,” said Ben Kepes, analyst and founder, Diversity Limited. “The features and functionality contained in the new version of its CashBox solution that Vindicia is announcing today bring these advantages to digital merchants using billing configurations typical in the SaaS model.”
“CashBox has helped dozens of digital merchants increase customer lifetime value, recover lost revenue and improve their customer relationship management,” said Gene Hoffman, chairman and CEO, Vindicia. “This new version announced today will enable us to expand the reach of CashBox in the subscription-based SaaS and enterprise software markets, offering customer retention benefits to a company’s existing marketing and billing processes. As a result these digital merchants stand to derive the same top and bottom line benefits that come from leveraging billing as a strategic marketing asset rather than viewing it as simply an operational and administrative function.”
