ProtoShare 5 is a huge milestone for us. We've worked on it for about 8 months--completed two releases of 3.9 in the meantime--and put in a huge amount of effort making sure we did things right.Posted: February 28, 2011

Here's a great post I came across, listing the 5 Laws of Cloud Integration according to Shawn Rogers:
- Data is widely distributed
- Everything happens fast
- Control is distributed
- Connectivity becomes more challenging
- Data volumes increase at explosive rate
Here’s the counter:
- Data from Cloud applications must be integrated with other systems to deliver maximum value.
- Cloud integration services must be easy to use for non-technical users.
- Cloud integration services must provide strong IT governance and control.
- Cloud integration services must provide broad end point support (apps, databases, files, etc. - both on-premises and cloud).
- Cloud integration services must be able to handle large data volumes.
