Its been another great month for fund raising in the enterprise cloud space. We saw web video company Brightcove IPO, Restorando from Brazil entering the scene and Emergence Capital stacking up their fund for another round of investing.
Cloud-based video service company Brightcove has just made its public debut on the NASDAQ under the symbol ‘BCOV’, with an opening trade of $14.50. The stock is up over 30% from the set starting price of $11 per share, after setting the range of $10-$12 per share. Brightcove is currently valued at around $382 million.
WeVideo, which launched in the fall of 2011 has announced the public rollout of their cloud-based collaborative video editing platform. In October the company announced integration with YouTube boosting the service to over 125,000 users, which have created over 1,000 video projects per day.
