Progressive cloud computing company Healthx has finally released the much-awaited Mobile Application, which caters to Payers aiming to connect members with their benefits and healthcare information. Healthx clients will receive their own uniquely branded app available for easy download in the iTunes, Windows, Android, and RIM markets.

The Healthcare Information & Management Systems Society (HIMSS) is holding their annual conference and exhibition, HIMSS12, next week February 20 -24 in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

Check out Healthx's, a healthcare management solution, infographic on the costs of Medicaid.  Interestingly, the infographic is not about the solutions they provide, rather a story about the unprecedented amount of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) the U.S. currently spends on healthcare -- the most of any country in the world.  Healthx explains in their press release that the government and other health insurers are looking for better healthcare management solutions to help mitigate these increasing healthcare costs.
