With employees in 10 states and growing all the time, Access Insurance had been using a solution that was acquired by a payroll service bureau. After the acquisition, David Hughes, vice president of human resources for Access Insurance, became concerned about the future direction of the solution and decided to review other vendors in the marketplace. To ensure that IT could stay focused on mission-critical objectives, Hughes focused on solutions that required minimal support from internal IT resources.
