Friday afternoon, a few weeks back I walked into a social media startup in Palo Alto to find a barren landscape. It was like an episode of life without people. Desks were left as if ready for a full days work, and gadgets were left strewn around the office -- a ghost town of cubicles.
Do we really need to spend all that time commuting to and from the office each day? Seems like as waste of time. New research published by ContactBabel, showed that 73% of sales and contact centers that do not allow employees to work from home believe that it would bring greater flexibility to add new reps and open for longer hours.
